- What You Will Learn: In order to keep things manageable, I strictly followed the base color - wet wash - dry details - final adjustment process. When you practice making 4 paintings in a row following the same method, I’m sure it will become natural to you and you will have the confidence and skills to approach any subject in watercolor on your own. In the 4 projects we do together, I prepare you gradually to paint independently from adding colors to an existing coloring page, to creating your own coloring page from a reference, to tracing the outline of any reference image, to picking colors from paintings, to analyzing each step needed in making an artwork, to making your own sketch, and finally to putting your own colors and paint on “paper”.

- Why is it important to learn Watercolor in Procreate: If you hate the mess of traditional painting and the fact that it’s hard to fix mistakes on watercolor, but love its look and texture, then learning how to do it digitally is the best option. Procreate is the easiest to use app for this purpose and you can totally “fake” the real watercolor look as long as you have the right brushes and techniques, which I will provide here.
- How can you apply the skills learned from this class: After taking this class and practice (of course!), you should be able to paint anything you like based on a reference you find. You can then make clip art, patterns and many many other graphics either as a hobby or to sell.
- Why should you learn from me: As a self taught artist, I know your struggles. I watched so many videos made by wonderful artists and teachers when I got started, but I was always overwhelmed because everything they painted looked so amazing but I just couldn’t get the same result. So in this class, I removed everything that is less important, considered extra, too advanced, too complicated or too fancy, and only kept what is absolutely crucial and rudimentary. I also made sure to break everything down to simple steps.
- Who This Class is For: This class is for beginner artists or hobbyists who have basic knowledge in how to use the software Procreate and want to learn how to create beautiful artworks fast digitally. It’s especially friendly to people who have been overwhelmed by other tutorials in the past and may need a bit of a confidence booster. The entire class is structured in a way to help a student go only one step further each time with a guide by your side throughout the journey.
- Materials/Resources: You will receive all the brushes I’m using in this class completely for free. I sell these brushes on my website and on Etsy as a separate product, but I will not make you purchase them because I understand it’s crucial that you use the same tools as I do in order to actually be able to follow along and get the best result.
